10. My wife is not unlike the Borrow Bird.
She can't discard anything that's shiny. Instead....it goes in the garden.

11. That's one nice garden you got there!!!
It looks pretty compact -- do you work on the square foot method?

I've finally gotten into gardening this year, and just got mine planted last weekend -- I know, it's late, but I had school to finish up and a kitchen to remodel. We live in a co-op and have a small backyard area, and I was able to plant tomatoes, broccoli, bush beans, scallions, carrots, spinach and lettuce in a 2' x 10' space. Next year, I'll get started a bit earlier and see if I can get a more diverse foodstock going -- especially some eggplant as a substitute for meat.

16. It's only the second year for this garden.
Last year it was a little smaller, we expanded it in the front by about 4 feet...and only planted about 2/3rds of the stuff that we planted last year.

The aforementioned tomatoes, beans, lettuce mix, peppers, zucchini. Nothing fancy.
