Saw something unexpected today
Driving home from the dentist, I was behind a minivan bearing a red, white and blue "Support Our Troops" ribbon. It also had a U.S. Marine Corps license plate.

Below the ribbon and the license plate were two bumper stickers: One was a John Kerry For President sticker, and the other featured a red, white and blue kicking donkey saying "Take Back America!"

It just served to remind me that not ALL "Support Our Troops" ribbons are sported by Bushbots.

1. Wow, that must have been refreshing to see.
Did you give the car a honk?

2. No, but I tried to catch the driver's eye to smile and wave as he
turned off. I don't think he saw me.

4. Nice. I've seen a few ribbon-sticker combos like that where I live.
It's very refreshing, becuase I know they're actually supporting our troops (by voting for politicians who won't cut their health benefits and pay), rather than engaging in "plastic patriotism".

(Also, there's a car that parks a few blocks from my apt with a DU bumpersticker but I have no idea who it is.)
