Anyone have any weird problems with Ticketmaster?
I went to see a show at the beginning of May. I had purchased the tickets at ticketmaster.com. I got my bank statement today saying that the tickets went through almost 3.5 weeks after I purchased them. here's the weird part. I bought 2 tickets, i was only charged for one, and they didn't charge me a service fee. has anyone else ever had anything weird like this happen to them when dealing with ticketmaster.com?

1. Make sure you have the REAL Ticketmaster website open...
there are a bunch of shitkickers out there who use all kinds of dirty tricks to make people think they're buying tickets from Ticketmaster, when they're really not...

One of the worst is a scumbucket who does business under the name Austin Ticket Company (in Austin, TX of course). He's already been slapped down by ICANN for running scam sites that mimic Ticketmaster's, and his employees have been arrested for scalping.

5. Good that you checked. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows
about the scammers like Austin Ticket Company. They're one of the worst, but there are dozens of others like them.

3. I lined up for five hours once...
...to buy front row tix for Bauhaus. I got the tickets, but when we arrived at the venue, rows 1-5 had been removed to make more floor-space.

"So... where do we sit?", I asked the Ticketmaster usher...

"I dunno", was the sensible reply.

I've never given TicketBastard another dime. Never will, either. Fuck them.

4. I hate them deeply...
But they have a monopoly, and sometimes you have no choice but to give in.
