4. There were some great "Afro's" in professional sports.
Especially in the NBA. DR. J had a great Fro.
I always thought that was the coolest look!
I was an Oscar Gamble fan as a kid.

9. The cap didn't stay on. When he stepped on first base.......
while running out a single, his batting helmet would pop off his head.

I was a Royals fan and hated the Yankees, but I liked seeing Oscar Gamble's helmet pop off.
