But this dude just said that the European Union is in an allegiance with Satan. It's the red dragon with 10 horns or some shit.

Jack Van Impe I think.

Hilarious really.

1. Isn't an "Imp" a form of demon?

2. They've been saying that shit for years
The ten horns are supposed to represent the ten nations of the EU, despite the fact that they've currenlty got 25 nations. Never let facts get in the way of fundie logic.

3. Televangelists are as crazy as foxes.......
Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 07:07 PM by TheDebbieDee
they know what to tell the sheep to get them to send more money!

That's why, if enough churches are threatened with having their tax exempt status withdrawn for promoting one political party over another, the churches will become the BIGGEST proponents of the continued separation of church and state.

Churches care more about money than people!

6. Van Impe and his lovely wife, "Rexella". I know them!
I mean, my husband and I used to tune in on Wednesday evenings to watch the show because it was so unbelievably bad. This was right before the millennium, and Jack and Rexella were doing everything they could to convince their viewers that the end of the world was nigh. What was really remarkable was how the issue was ignored after we sailed through midnight without there being even the smallest sign of the beginning of armageddon. Who believes this stuff? It's really hard to imagine people being that dumb.

7. Jack Van Impe's been at this for decades.
Even 20 years ago my firends and I would put him and his ditzoid wife Rexella on the tube, and sit and laugh at them.

"The Pope sneezed today, Rex!"
"It's another sign of the endtimes, Rexella, in (fill in the blank vague and obscure Biblical verse) it says..."
