Describe the political persuasions of the Looney Tunes characters
Edited on Sun Jun-05-05 04:50 PM by DerekG
If I were to take a gander at the Chuck Jones era: Bugs Bunny--Anarchist (Anti-authoritarian and complete non-conformist) Porky Pig--Democrat (Well-meaning and tempered) Daffy Duck--Ayn Rand Libertarian ("I EARNED THIS MONEY! IT'S MINE!") Elmer Fudd--Freeper (Gullible and dim) Yosemite Sam--Neocon (Animus manifest) Coyote--Right-wing hawk (you just know this S.O.B. is shooting ACME rockets in Iraq)

2. Chicken Hawk = Chicken hawk (i.e. neocon)
I knew the Coyote was a right winger. Always destroying the environment for short term gain. Pepe le Pew - Probably a Hollywood Democrat. Tweety Bird - Definitely a Dem. Marvin Martian - Total neocon.

3. Sylvester the Cat - never bothered to register to vote
Gets into bar fights over politics but never votes and isn't very familiar with any of the candidates.
