When was the last time you were so excited
Edited on Mon Jul-07-03 02:01 PM by SiouxJ
about something that you couldn't sleep? When I was a kid I would be so excited the night before a trip to Disneyland that I couldn't sleep. Christmas comes to mind too :-). I was just thinking about that as I don't have a lot of those moments as an adult - then again there is Ambien :D .

edited for clarity :D

1. It was an extremely long time ago--when I was a kid, probably
But I've since had a few nights when I was too angry or upset to go to sleep. The last time that happened was September 11, 2001. The time before that was November 7, 2000.

By the way, the reason I was too upset to go to sleep on 11-7-00 was sleeping like a baby by 11:00 p.m. on 9-11-01.

2. Oh I have nights where I can't sleep
because of worry or stress, all the time. Hence the Ambien ;-). But about the only recent time I can remember being too "excited" to sleep was the night before my last trip to Europe.

4. I know this is corny
but it was just last weekend when Hillary was in Pasadena for her book signing. My friend and I rented a hotel room and woke up at 3:20 to be in line by 4:00 a.m.! There was already a crowd of people there so it was great that we got there when we did. I barely slept because I was SO excited. I had already gotten her book the first day it went on sale (I actually had it on hold) so I was about half-way through it and totally impressed. Then at the signing we were limited to only two books so I now have three! I'm sending one to my sis.
