6. Technically no they are kinda a creation of folklore and urban legend

A sand squink is a legendary coyote/bobcat hybrid that is supposed to live along the Columbia River. This beasty can supposedly create electricity by rubbing his bushy tail on the tips of his ears. He lives in underground nests insulated by rubber and lays eggs like a platypus that are insulated from his electricity.
