Dr. Pepper or Coke?

Yeah I quit soda for my new year's resolution, but I'm backsliding. Shut up. I don't care.

Anyway... I faced this dilemma a little bit ago whilst choosing which caffienated beverage to purchase from the vending machine.

I went with DP.

I hate billing time.


(Bonus points for anyone that can guess how many times I typed "cock" instead of "coke" whilst creating this here poll.)

I don't have the link at the moment, but there is a relationship between Dr. Pepper and a company you may have heard of called the Carlyle Group. If I remember correctly, Poppy and his friends are part owners of the company :(

And while busting unions is bad, Carlyle has done far worse.

Diet Cherry, Vannilla Doctor Pepper tastes great. I don't think it leaves as much as an after taste as the other diet sodas.

The only problem is the supper market always seems to be out of it by Sunday's when I normally shop. Sometimes I get lucky and they have one or two cartons left.

I have also started checking in the middle of the week when I go out for appointments or need to pick up a few things that I forgot from my list.

The high fructose corn syrup in your soda was basically the carbohydrate equivalent of mainlining uncut heroin. Direct absortion into the bloodstream and deposited in the fat cells.

This is assuming that you didn't replace the soda with any juice or tea beverages that also contain high fructose corn syrup!
