I'd never seen Episode I before.
So now that I saw Ep III, I rented it and just finished watching it.

Really a disappointment. There. I said it.

I rented Ep II also. Am I just being a masochist?

12. I fell asleep.
God, I wanted to find something hard to hit myself over the head with. I liked II and III, though.

Maybe because I didn't see I and II.

4. 1 and 2 were hard to take...
George forgot to tell a story, methinks.

5. He took 2 hours for each movie to tell a 10 minute story ...
THAT was the problem with I and II, IMO.

8. You're absolutely right
If George really wanted to make three prequel movies, I wish he had started where this one began. Then Anakin could have spent more time switching over to the dark side, and we could have been spared all the silliness of the first two movies.

7. After watching III
I think Lucas could've just released III and I of been happy. In all reality III had everything we actually wanted to see. The Turn... the rise of hte empire.. the slaughter of the Jedi. . . The formation of Darth Vader. I and II was just simply seeing what Vader as a kid looked like and Episode II just showed him as a padawan. . . and the beginning of the war that lead to the downfall. basically I and II was just simply filler and Episode III was the meat and potatoes.

an Emmy winning animated series that tells more of the story between II and III

14. It's absolutely beautiful.
You just have to see Windu fight. Even though it's animated, it's incredible.

The Clone Wars ends just minutes before Revenge of the Sith begins.

19. yes it's part of the saga
It shows Anakin becoming a Jedi Knight and facing the trials, how he gets his facial scar, and ends with Palpatine being kidnapped by Grievous.

15. Jake Lloyd blew ass in that movie
The dialogue for him was bad enough, but he really just did not pull it off.

I thought the pod race the duel with Maul, and a little bit of the back plot on Palpatine were it's only redeeming qualities. I was a huge Star Wars fan since childhood, and was very disappointed.

Episode 2 was improved over one, but I was not incredibly impressed.

I was actually not expecting too much going into 3, after seeing 1 and 2. Thankfully, I thought they pulled it off. Ian McDiarmid did a wonderful job as Palpatine. In parts, the dialogue was goofy, but this movie made me care again about the characters as I did with 4-6.
I was impressed.

17. Ep II is a lot worse than Ep 1. That's why I'm averse to seeing the third.
Is averse a word, I don't even know.

Anyway--that's why.

20. 3 is much improved
I think it stands with the original 3. I was not expecting much going in, but was pleasantly suprised.
