Three years of grad school there--I HATED Sunday because the bars were closed...  This was back in the early 70s, when sex was still legal, and there was plenty to be had. Ai yi yi...

ON EDIT: Then there was the potent and readily available Meigs County Green. Aaaaaaaah... :woohoo:

5. I'm sure Hardesty's blood pressure just shot up
Considering how hard he's been working at getting rid of that image.

Morgantown, where if the keg hasn't been tapped by 9 am, it's a wasted Saturday.

but face it, WVU is and will always be a party school

and the earliest I ever started drinking on a Saturday was 8:30 am

It was for one of the Pitt games.

I was hammered by the 3rd quarter

15. I missed all that
Being in marching band. We had the Kool-Aid Rule: no alcohol 24 hours before an event. A lot of people broke it, but I did only once: You only have to have one splitting hangover headache while standing in front of 55 trumpet players and 30 percussionists before you learn that lesson.

10. LSU is left out to make y'all feel better
It was the original Playboy professional party school after being the best for a decade. They decided to give others a chance.

doesn't drink or smoke. She the perpetual designated driver for her friends and her parents think she's nuts (they both partied their way through college). She's just a little different.

Personally, I think Ole Miss would be a nightmare-way too much small town conservatism and MASSIVE Greek )fraternity/sorority) influence.

"Get drunk and ride the monorail"

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO

Oh and generally act like a**es at the football game.

I see that the 'Eers finally couldn't hide anymore and are going to play Marshall. Oh that is going to be so much fun.

23. Once upon a time
I pretended to be a student at Brown University. We used to claim that we didn't pay tuition, we paid a cover charge.

The administration in their wisdom decided to put the frat houses on campus, the better to keep an eye on them. The result was, they defined acceptable social behavior. And their standards were pretty abysmal. There was one frat called Toad Hall-- I forget what their original Greek affiliation had been, but they were so horrible that their national had cut them loose years previous.

There was one footballer whose boast was that he never drank fewer than 100 beers in the course of a weekend. He would start immediately after his last class on Friday and just pound 'em for the next 60-some hours.

This may all be small potatoes to you, but it sure impressed me. And I don't mean favorably. I never finished school.
