doh! shouLda checked the scheduLe

i drove into work today (i used to take the train) cuz there's been free parking (busted meters) for some time. the onLy catch is, you have to move your car once every hour (or 2 for some spots). that's no hassLe, as it gives me time to smoke butts, etc.

it's time to move my car so i head out there (i work near fenway) and every spot is taken and a good 10 cars or so are Looming Like vuLtures because the sox are pLaying at 1pm. some sLammed on their brakes to ask me if i was Leaving, and i had to wave them away - if i moved, i'd just spend the rest of the day driving around for another spot.

so now i'm just waiting for that $25 ticket.

i shouLd have checked the sox scheduLe. doh!

yup I went out one night and there was a yankees game at Fenway. fun time parking.

these spots are never taken, but now that sox parking garage/Lots charge much more than a parking ticket, these fuckers park there because it's cheaper.

during sox games (day) the metermaids have a fieLd day! at exactLy 1pm 2 maids waLked down the street recording the License pLates - they'LL be back shortLy after 2 and Loading up the tickets.

Round here parking tickets are £30 if paid within the first 2 weeks, £60 thereafter. Damn Massholes.

the garage down here by my work.

But I know how you feel. I used to work in Baltimore's Inner Harbor---I had my car TOWED during an Orioles game!

BTW---is it Baltimore reaming the sox out today? I am not sure who baltimore is smashing up this week.
