You'll never believe what DAN BERN covered last night!
So, I went to see Dan Bern last night. First show in about 6 months, apparently, and he played a zillion (approx.) new tunes, along with some covers, including...

...wait for it...

3. OK, so where did you see Bern?
I only heard about him from about September of last year, when "Bush Must Be Defeated" began to rattle around the 'net. I quickly became a big fan and have accumulated lots of his music, a fair portion of which I actually paid for.

However, I've been overseas all this time, so have never seen him live (I guess he occasionally gets to Germany, but I'm a bit further east).

I'm returning to the States soon (Maryland) and will try to catch him live then.

5. You lucky bastard
My wife and I are devoted Berniacs, but he's not coming to the DC area on this tour. At least nothing's been announced yet.

Ever talk to him? He's a really nice guy.

Did he have much to say about Chimpy?

6. He sang an ode to the 22nd Amendment. That's about it, I think.
