a night ago, at my buddies Scot's house while we were mixing a new vocal for our soon to be huge hit single; Another Girl, Another Machine:

me: I think the Jedi Council did not do enough to help Anakin in his struggles with the Force.

Scot: Nonsense! It was Qi-Jon's fault for bring Anakin in front of the Council and training what was obviously a problem child/momma's boy in secret in the first place.

me: But he was to bring Balance to the Force! If he only was helped instead of hindered, so many lives could have been saved.

Scot: And think of the lives that could have been saved if HE WAS JUST LEFT ON TATTOINE!!!

me: You suck.

Scot: No, you suck.

This went on for about 30 minutes, thereby cementing my geek status in carbonite. Damn.

But I'm right dammit! The Jedi Council did NOT do ENOUGH!!!

The Jedi council didn't seem to do much of anything...

Sure, there were a bunch of missions that we heard about, but who knows if we ever saw one. I have a friend who brags about his sex life, but I never see him with a girl...one in the same? I think so!

Wasn't it Anakin that bitched about the council not teaching him enough? If that isn't evidence that his mommy didn't hug him enough I don't know what is.
