Be a part of Rocky history! Bid on the Rocky Statue from the movie

This statue was made for one of the Rocky Movies and placed at the top of the steps at the Phillly Musuem of Art (I forget which sequal - I've only ever seen the first Rocky). Anyhow after the movie was overwith there was a big stink about the statue. I guess Stallone and some of his fans wanted to leave it there but the Art museum thought it was nothing more than a prop and should be taken away.

So I guess now no one wants the statue in Philly and it's now up for bid on ebay. Starting price - $1million (it goes to charity).

I have a membership to the Philly Museum of Art. You can spot the tourists in a heartbeat - they're all running up the steps trying to act like Rocky. Geez, that movie is almost 30 years old!
