8. Funny you mention the "healthy family;"

we have a neighbor down the street who repeatedly mentions the fact that, when he's driving to work in the morning, he frequently notices us having breakfast as a family (our house has many large windows visible from the street), and envies our togetherness as a family.

Not that I want to be the envy of anyone, but I consider that a compliment and an affirmation that we're doing something right.

with particular people about specific subjects, but they almost always are willing to find common ground on another subject about which we both DO agree.
