Poll question: How happy are you about your life?
Just consider everything, and come up with a number.
1 = MY LIFE SUCKS
10 = MY LIFE IS AWESOME

If you can, say something about your choice.

8. Hang in there---my daughter went through it and she
finally came out the other side.

In a few months if this poll is repeated I hope you choose a high number.

13. I'd give it a six.
My life isn't so easy right now, but my basic needs are met, my children are healthy and smart, I'm healthy and smart, and (knock wood) the worst is over. :)

A lot of things have happened in my life over the last few years I didn't expect and sometimes I just question so many things (mostly myself). Someone told me a couple of days ago that I was the strongest person they know. Maybe, I just get tired of being strong sometimes. Not much choice really I suppose. Rarely, do I know how to let go and not be strong.

Ahhh, sleep deprived ramblings.

14. I'm almost in the middle.
There are a lot of things in my life that I'm completly grateful for and there are a lot of things that I need to work on. It's more about working on myself then the things around me. I'm alive, I'm healthy, and I have amazing people in my life - I'm a lot more fortunate then some people.

No matter how bad things get, they could always be worse. Someone is always going to be poorer than you, sicker than you, and come from circumstances that you'll never be able to understand. Life is what you make it.

18. 59 this summer
Great job, total creativity (but have to raise money from the government), fantastic children all grown now, gorgeous grandson born May 19, nice house, nice car, can afford help and have money to give to kids and grandkids. Now, if I can lose some weight, it will be perfect. I'm walking a lot and the pool opens this weekend.

19. A solid ten.
This is the best it has ever been. Beautiful loving wife, four great kids, five year old grandson who is the apple of my eye. Going on vacation next week, picked out a new lab puppy who arrives June 18.
Feel better at fifty than I did at forty. Meaningful, challenging occupation. Golf game still sucks, though.

20. You picked the wrong time to ask
It seems like everything in my life is just going to hell right now. :( I guess it could be worst, though: we could have locusts.

21. I said 7.
Bad things have happened but my life is mostly back on track now. I still have some debt but I'm paying it off. I'm expected to graduate from college this December, or next May at the latest. I will be getting married next June. I'm sure kids and a house will follow soon after that. So, ask me again this time next year and I'll surely say 10!
