10. Believe it or not, you're pretty darn LUCKY...

... where I live, our across-the-corner neighbors have about twelve big-ass dogs of every shape and color, and a dinky little three-foot fence to hold them all in. They're kept outside all day and all night, in every kind of weather. They bark at anything and everything within a two-block radius of their front gate, which makes yard-work, getting on and off the school bus, taking out the trash, and picking up the mail so much more interesting. If another dog somewhere else unseen but heard goes off, the whole of them start in, too.

Effen mutts.

And I have a dog myself.

doing her business, because I pay attention to her. I also have a backyard neighbor who has two dogs who live outside 24/7 and bark 24/7. I called the cops so many times, they finally had to put the dogs in the garage. I can't hear them at all anymore.

Not as much as it used to but I run a fan in my bedroom facing away from me and it drowns out the dog nicely.You should give it a try if all else fails.

behind you who is tailgating while you are driving a van full of little girls to do a good deed for their Girl Scout troop, and screaming at her about what a moran she is for following so closely and speeding is very therapeutic as well.

And, even when she gets back in her car and gives you the finger, you can still be secure in the knowledge that you have her license plate number and you know where she lives.
