42. lol...
Who cares telling how much it was? All you would be doing is helping other DU'ers know what to ask for when they go to a dealership.

Albeit I love Mustangs, they are not a rare breed. :)

6 cyl 210 HP automatic. Nice enough car but the GT with V8 and manual tranny does it for me.

I was just saying what MY preference is. I currently own a 99 GT and my brother in law who sells Fords has been trying to talk me into getting the 05 GT. Good Luck with the new car and welcome to the Tribe of the Horse.

40. My son has a '66
and a 2003..and a big truck, and they have a Jetta and another 2003 mustang (his and hers).. There are TWO of them..oh yes.. and they just took custody of our 70 Gran Torino.. He;s gonna restore it as a surprise to Dad ( It was my mother in law's car, and has 36K original miles on it.

As he was towing it up north last weekend, he said people were "thumb's uppin" him as they passed.. One guy even wrote a crude sign and put it in the window asking if it was for sale :)

Dad will be very surprised when it's all done:) He thinks that oour son is taking it up north to sell it :)

13. The dealership is having them put on for me. They are paying for it.
He said he hoped they could get them on tomorrow. I take it back in the morning to get the free tint put on and they will do their full detail on it. I got to take it home for the night.

18. Well I had already called the guy who will do it.
To get prices just did not know that the dealership would pay for it to be done. 800 bucks I do not have to spend. And a free 200 bucks of window tinting on top of the rebate. I think they were fair.

I love this new car just a little gas and it pops you in the butt. Push it down and WOW!!!!!!!!!

33. Love those Mustangs
Ever since Steve McQueen drove that '68 2+2 in "Bullit" I've been in love with these cars. I like that Ford went retro with its new designs. I have a 2000, one of the 35th anniversary series (which I'll keep because it's paid for; I don't like those monthly payments) but I wish I had waited until these came out.

34. She's pretty. I've had 3 stangs myself (2 vert GTs and 1 LX hatch)
I loved mine, and I hope you love yours as well.

I can tell that you're excited about your new ride. Don't let others get you down about it.

BTW, this is the best looking Mustang they've put out in a very long time.

It is tinted now, and looks really sweet. I have to wait til Tuesday to get the hand controls. I can not wait. Taking it down to my parents tomorrow to show it off. So first road trip. I love it. That is one awesome car.
