2. Have to agree
My friend had it on a 45 and we wore it out. It made us eight-year-olds laugh until we fell over.

7. I heard that on the radio a couple weeks ago
I was surprised it was actually still good. I figured my memory as a child had made it better than it was.

5. Mr. Businessman
A great song that was years ahead of it's time. If you think "comedy songs" when you think of Ray Stevens, give it a listen..

23. I like Mr Businessman too.
Itemize the things you covet
As you squander through your life
Bigger cars, bigger houses
Term insurance for your wife
Tuesday evenings with your harlot
And on Wednesdays it's your charlatan
analyst, he's high upon your list

6. "The Rock And Roll Show"
I used to use that one as my theme song when I was a saturday morning deejay at the high school radio station. (Didn't have much of a selection, nor much of an imagination. Hey-- I wuz 16 at the time!)

I met him in Nashville, when the landscaping company I worked for got a contract to do his home irrigation system. Nice man. Unfortunately, his wife was sick at the time.

8. So many great ones, it's hard to decide--except for
"The Streak." That one was just lame, and not worthy of his ability.

12. That's what you gotta do when you're a musician.
Find that financial / artistic balance. Nothing wrong with that; you have to pay the bills.

There are very few songs I hate, but I despise that one.

20. I love it. Not many songs mentioned my home state
and even a town I grew up near.

Although, interestingly, Jimmy Buffet has a song about Pascagoula, too. Not bad for a town the size of a Burger King.
