Just my luck, I ran out of tape halfway thru' the show. The show went to commercial when the crash cart was rolling into the room. Please tell me what happened in the last half of the show.

he spends all his time at her house and none at his--the classic signs.

Did they save Mr. Franklin? Did they do the surgery on the Chief's brain tumor? Does George recover any dignity?

Yes, and it was successful with no loss of vision.

11. Chief's tumor behind his eye removed, optic nerves saved

so saved that he saw Shepherd and "what's her name" embracing. He warned her then not to mess around with an attending.

Franklin died, he was the unlawful autopsy. Blonde model doctor and dark hair doctor performed it to try to find out why he died. Short angry female attending found out, got angry, caught them in the act but ......

They found his heart enlarged and full of grainy materials. They tested the materials and found that he didn't have a drinking problem as much as he had a genetic problem where his body retained the iron, thus making him sick, lethargic and eventually caused his heart to enlarge and kill him. They were able to get by with the autopsy when they told the family that it was a genetic disorder and they probably saved the daughter's life.

12. Franklin didn't make it

the VD outbreak, I saw the long line of staffers waiting to be tested. Alex is still a jerk, but does George recover any dignity? I know he's lost the girl. Poor guy. :(

because Alex gave the girl the VD. She had been seeing them both at the same time, then dumped Alex for George.

14. I think he left her where ever, when he moved to Seattle

he said something like, "when did you get in?" when she showed up. George found out that his nurse girlfriend got the STD from that arrogant guy (I don't remember his name, the one that gave him the shot)

The surgery was successful and the chief saw Shepherd and Meredith together and chastised her. She told Shepherd her mother had Alzheimer's.

13. Spoilers...

The patient who Christine and Izzie were working on died. At the daughter's urging, the mom didn't ask for an autopsy and the chief resident told Christine and Izzie to not look a gift horse in the mouth. They went over her head and pleaded with the family to agree to an autopsy. The mom almost relented and gave Izzie a long look through the daughter's continued protests. So, C & I went ahead and did the autopsy anyway.

They were in the middle of the autopsy when the chief resident caught them, but they showed her how enlarged the man's heart was and that it had a grainy substance all in and on the blood vessels and cardiac tissue. Turn out, he had a genetic condition that causes the body to build up too much iron and that's what killed him. They got the mom and daughter to sign consent to the autopsy after the fact because the info they learned likely saved the daughter's life...

The chief of surgery (Webber) had the surgery for the tumor and his eye sight remained intact. He saw Meredith and Shepherd outside his room as Shepherd kissed Meredith. When Meredith went in to check on the chief, Webber told her she was making a big mistake. She brushed him off, only to be later confronted with Shepherd's wife as they were preparing to leave together from the hospital. She learned he was married and that was the end of the show for the season...

Oh, and George's syphilis did come from his new girlfriend. But it turned out she'd slept with Alex before him and that's where she got it...

Burke's friend turned out to be sterile after all (blind vas deferens) and he confronted his wife about the baby not being the friend's. The wife tried to manipulate him into not "ruining their lives" (funny, seems SHE's the one who did that) and not telling the husband. Burke told her that as a friend he wouldn't say the baby wasn't the friend's but as his doctor he had to be honest with him about his medical condition and sterility.

Oh, and Christine still hasn't told Burke she's pregnant.

Hope that helps... I also really like this show, though I think "House, M.D." is better. Got TiVo set up to record that season finale tonight!

I didn't think there was more to Burke's old friend and the ovary they found. I guess the wife has some 'spaining to do.

Now I know what happened in the last 5 mins.

Alex is still a jerk. What sucks is that George lost the girl, anyway. :(

I'm sure that Burke will never find out...'til next season.
