Poll question: Which STAR WARS world would you live on?
Pretend it's the Galactic Republic, I'm an interstellar real estate agent, and all of you either have good credit or loads of cash. What planet do you want to live on?

Naboo - Lots of forests and swamps. No molten core; lots of underground oceans. A geologist's dream.
Tatooine - Desert planet with lots of plains, canyons, etc. Twin suns make for a gorgeous sunset. Here, you don't dig for water - you farm it out of the air. Some problems with organized crime, but it's a hell of a lot better than nearby Geonosis (another desert world).
Coruscant - Capitol world of the Republic. It's a planet-sized city, for cryin' out loud. Wildlife is scarce, but there's tons of commerce, entertainment, food, etc. Not to mention Jedi.
Hoth - I won't lie to you; this planet's a big ball of snow and ice. Nights are brutal, and a nearby asteroid field peppers Hoth with meteors. But the multiple moons at night are worth the occasional frostbite.
Alderaan - Peaceful. No weapons. Grasslands, small seas, and lovely night skies. "Mostly harmless."
Bespin - Gas giant. No such thing as a "surface" on this planet. Mining colonies have established huge floating cities. Not recommended for those with a fear of heights.
Kashyyk - Thick forests, and I do mean thick. Many trees are a couple of miles tall. A unique ecosystem. If you don't mind your neighbors being Wookies, biodiversity awaits you here.
Kamino - Waterworld. Lots of storms. Not many people know about this planet, but they've got exciting job opportunities for geneticists and biologists who don't mind a little cloning.
Mustafar - Love volcanoes, pyroclastic flows, and rivers of lava? Welcome home. This planet is a giant mass of volcanoes. Housekeeping hint: you can make great soap out of pumice.
Yavin IV - It's actually a habitable moon that orbits the gas giant Yavin. Lush forests and ancient temples - uh, wait a second. Aren't those the remains of Sith temples? Maybe we'd better move along.

3. I wouldn't mind Alderan, but I don't want to die
I assume you are talking about Alderan before A New Hope

That is true...
I could provide you with an escape shuttle to Endor. Forests and cuddly Ewoks. Hope you don't mind "roughing it" a little.

6. Jedi tend to move about a lot
Their HQ is on Coruscant, however. Have lightsaber, will travel...

7. What was the COOL neon-looking world briefly seen during the Jedi massacre
It was the very colorful, Alice-in-Wonderland-like world briefly seen when the female "dredlock" Jedi bought it in Revenge of the Sith...this would be the world I would pick. I SO wanted to see more of this world in the Sith movie, but alas it was not so.

11. Felucia
Felucia is a world in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It is a planet filled with bizarre plants and animals which are almost rubber-like and translucent. When the sun shines, the environment glitters like multicolored glass. Jedi Knight Aayla Secura leads a clone army on this planet, which is the headquarters of the Commerce Guild.

8. Tatooine
Sure it's hot but it's a dry heat. Curbside delivery of droids. Mos Eisley's just a quick land speeder ride away. Just gotta watch for those damn "sand people"

Oh, and you forgot Dagobah when you REALLY want to get away from it all.

It's so pretty there. Second would be Degobah (sp?). Gotta love swampland.

10. I deliberately left out Dagobah...
...to keep it as a sort of wildlife preserve, like the Everglades.
