hi, i'm chickenscratching and I'm glad to meet you.
i am but a wee red-haired lass, a few months from my coming-out party.
would you care to know anything else?

I am SO edgy: that i feel the time is right to share my soul.

5. they've always had it
though in those times, it wasn't about a sexuality decision, it was basically a party to put girls on the meat market. a chance to flash some dowry around.

16. There's a debutante ball
and one during the American Royal livestock show called The Jewell Ball.
As an offsetting event, we had a Jewelled Crawdad Ball.

13. I think that cat looks like it's about to take on the world
much like yourself.

So what's the deal with this party?

I want to call it a debutante party but that's not it. Dammit it all, this is going to bother me for the rest of the day.

20. wow
When's your birthday?

I had a awesome 21 b-day party. It was yer old school house party complete with the fam and friends. A fiend of my is a jazz musician and he set up his trio in my mother's living room. I wore a fabulous red dress. My sisters got me a keg of new castle. It was the year I decided that I was a babe and I was going to start living my life as though it were mine. Which up until that point had been a novel idea.

And what's significantly older mean hrrmmmmm? CU asks with raised eyebrow.

12. so that means you will be 17, or 18, or 21?
Did you know the drinking age used to be 19 in Minnesota? So when people in SD turned 19 it was - ROAD TRIP!!!!!

In SD though, you could legally drink 3.2 beer at age 18. I understand that 3.2 beer is like making love in a canoe - fu$%ing close to water.

So, are U going to the U? And what is the whole thing about chickens anyway? Did they really come before the egg?

22. sometime in the early or mid 1980s
Reagan forced all the states to goto 21, by threatening to with-hold highway funding. Supposed to reduce drunk driving from all those border trips. Republicans, they believe in states rights, when it's convenient.
