So... How expensive is property in Mexico?
What are job prospects in Mexico?

And what are the laws and regulations that must be followed to emigrate?

1. i have actually looked at houses on line
and it depends where in Mexico. There are some pretty nice affordable ones in the Yucatan that i would consider.

There are plenty of places in Mexico that are beautiful!

Maybe the OP wasn't talking about a border town, maybe somewhere like Guanajuato?

6. Yes, they can.
We have close friends who live on the outskirts of Ensenada. The real estate deals (for them, at least) work a bit differently than here--they first purchased the house (and guest house) on the property about three years ago, and this year were able to actually buy the land itself.
