It's been a while now, in 1991 I lived in a cave/camp for a couple of months, so I had someplace to call home, but it wasn't home in a traditional sense.
Fortunately, my ssi came through before it got cold.

Couldn't find an affordable place as didn't have enough money for 1st, last, damage. Only enough for 1st. Had to camp in a friends kids playhouse while I worked to get more $$. It seriously sucked.
