Ever watched the Maury show?
This is my first time to watch it. Three white teenagers, none looking to be above 16. Here's what I got out of it:

Girl: You my babydaddy.

Boy 1: I ain't you babbydaddy.

Girl: You my babydaddy!

Boy 1: I ain't you babydaddy. Your cousin's you babydaddy!

Girl: You crazy!

Girl's Male Cousin: (walks on stage) I'm you babydaddy!

Girl: You is crazy!

Maury: Boy 1, you are NOT the father of Girl's baby!

Girl: (runs backstage, collapses on the floor) I ain't never slept with my cousin! Waah!!!

1. His shows only consist of ...
"Shocking Paternity Results!!!"

"Maury - Help Me With My Out-of-Control Teenage Daughter by Sending Her to Bootcamp!!"

And the occaisional ...

"Man or Woman?: You Decide."

It's a terrible, hideous show. He should be ashamed. But, it's okay for shock value, in moderation of course. :)

2. Indeed, it is terrible and hideous.
Seems to be a show of nothing but exploitation. Has it always been so...so...Jerry Springerish?

3. I seem to remember ...
some substance when he first started. Like making sick kids' dreams come true ... can't remember any more than that. In recent years, he's gone straight down the shitter. Don't really enjoy either, but I'd take Jerry over him anyday.

4. You forgot the part where the guy who is not the father celebrates...
as though he has simultaneously won the Super Bowl and a Nobel Prize.

10. This is old, but...
"One time, I was watching a fight, and a Jerry Springer Show broke out."

I know, I know. But it brings a smile. Ah, TV. Like the Bread and Circuses of the Gladiator days.

11. I remember when Maury Povich was a newscaster in DC
and also hosted one of those lunchtime sweater shows. He had some heart transplant specialist on and asked the surgeon, with journalistic sincerity, "with all the success in heart transplants lately, do you think it will long before there are brain transplants?"

13. I remember that episode with the really fat babies.
Some of those moms just let their kids eat whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. Little 3 year olds eating a whole family sized bucket of KFC or a dozen donuts in one sitting. They even had one 6 month month old baby that was already eating KFC, and the kid didn't have any teeth yet. It was disgusting.
