Clothing styles you'd like to see revived?
I'd love to see Mary Quantish mod return, but wouldn't be caught dead in it at my age!

2. I loved Mary Quant!
I remember her stuff too so I am also way too old to wear it. Still, it was pretty nice. I loved the pale look and the peasant/funky look.

4. The birthday suit
But I've always been a nudist trapped in a clothed body.

6. The Zoot Suit
The zoot suit has the dubious distinction of having been banned by the federal government during World War II--the fabric required to make one is sufficient to make two to three utilitarian outfits.

I'd get one to drum in, but my swing isn't so good.

8. 1930s fashion and 1940s equestrian fashion.
My Nana looked like Ava Gardner (both dark and brunette from NC) in her beautiful 1930s clothes! She was a great beauty.

16. Me too! The fashion is very flattering to most figures.
I love the fabrics and the cut. I like the knee to below knee length and the sexy shoes and hats. The 30s is my fave era for fashion. Slinky yet modest and sexy!

9. As a man who has to wear a suit or at least a tie to work with slacks
I want to see the 40's style suits come back in style with higher waisted pants, looser fitting slacks, nice 3, 4 button single breasted jackets with no vent in back; Double breasted jackets as well with softly sloping shoulders, natural fabrics and to top it off, the fidora hat! That is style!

13. 'Gaucho' styled split skirts
Cz it is very windy where I live and they help one keep their skrit hem below eye level. And they look so good with boots.

15. Would I be a pig...
...if I asked for the return of those early-mid 70s halter tops?? I just got through puberty around then & I appreciated how they sort of fell forward a little when women moved around. And there was a sort of cleavage-from-the-back effect sometimes, too. Ahhh, 'twas a great time to be a horny teenager.

I kinda liked those really short jogging shorts from c.1980 too.

Oh well, I guess I am a pig. Sorry...
