If you worked for a company that preferred to choose the inexperienced
over the experienced for the same amount of money, what would you think of that company?

Hypothetically speaking, of course. I'm a hypo homo, you see...

1. These are probably their intentions
They want employees who they can mold (brainwash) into their needs. It doesn't sound like a good company who has treated it's longer term employees very well.

2. self-destructive and insecure
Hiring an inexperienced person over more skilled workers is not necessarily a sign of Dilbert-itis. Giving someone a chance and nurturing a person towards a career in the company are fine reasons.

However, intentionally hiring someone for their lack of experience and doing so on a regular basis is self-destructive. It may be appealing to hire drones ready for brainwashing, but it is clearly indicative of insecure management that is threatened by experience and maturity.

3. I've got a love/hate relationship with my job.
The job is way cool, but we have a ton of know it alls with "I don't know what" for experience. They seem pokey and stoopit, and I feel like I'm held back by their ignorance - and yet, I always seem like if I didn't do it, no one else would. But I have also been called arrogant, and that floors me. 'been actually thinking of my health lately, but clueless as to know how to change.

I understand what you're talking about - just wish I could keep it from buggin' me so much - ya find out, lemme know?

4. That happened to me once
I and a co-worker (inexperienced) were hired. Turns out they were a fraudulent non profit organization. Anybody WITH experience would have figured that out in a minute.

It took us 3 weeks.
