Poll question: Do you think IT will make a comeback in the US?
Pay rates aside.

I'm still debating learning SQL server; I don't think there's a future and Aspergers' hasn't helped either... I couldn't begin to compete.

3. Yes,
Probably beginning in about 2006, then really accelerating in 2008 and beyond.

There are regional considerations too, of course. And if a massive worldwide financial crisis hits, as appears more likely with each passing business day, IT won't be in any worse a shitcan than any other occupational group.
