1. I can hear my arteries hardening already!
Damn, that looks good. In all my many trips to California, I've never had Tommy's. I'll have to rectify that on my next trip.

6. Yes but
It's a moral imperative to ask them to drench your fries with their chili. Between that and the burger, you will be tootin' down the San Diego Freeway in no time! :7

7. It is..
a must when you visit here in L.A. that you have a Tommy Burger--especially at the original site on Beverly Blvd. Recommend the burgers, fries, and chili dogs too! You're just not an Angeleno if you haven't tried Tommy's.

If you didn't want chili they yelled to the back for a pussy burger. I never made that mistake.

They might be more PC now, but I hope not.

Caffeine is powerless. Seriously.

Thanks for covering! I feel really bad, but between the heat and the maxed out suitcase, I had little choice. Had a small slice of pizza on the train with some water. Just had cereal now. :D

I don't want to know about it. As long as it is in moderation, it's okay in my book. You only live once, might as well enjoy it.

I still love what I love. It's not like I needed a book to tell me McD's, Burger King, etc was shit. Given a choice between giving up good burgers or sanctimoniousness, I would give up the latter. I'll die happier. :-)

On edit: Tommy's, In-N-Out: Good; McD's, etc: Bad.

31. The book is a breathless hyperparanoid screed
It's true that mass beef-production has some horrific practices, but then again, Odwalla's organic fruit juice killed off a few people in WA state with e.coli a few years back (pasteurization is derided by smelly hippies, and look what happened), so life'll kill ya one way or the other.

Eat meat, dammit! :D

33. Moderation and common sense applies to everything
the list of what can kill us goes on and on....

Worrying about all that only allows the stress and paranoia to get you first.

Burp..
