5. 1 of my tux

is named timothy, too! he was feral-born, but i got him young enough that he's domesticated now.

had to evacuate a colony of ferals that were losing their habitat to a bulldozer. i also have his mother & grandmother, but they were feral for quite some time. mom is coming around, she'll let me pet her. maitresse bridgette only tolerates me...

11. Mine was also feral-born

We caught him and his littermates at about 6-7 weeks of age; he became basically tame within a few days, but his littermates were a different story -- two of them got friendly enough to be adopted out through Animal Rescue (though not nearly as friendly as Tim), and the third was so wild she eventually had to be returned to the outdoors.

Tim's name comes from "A Christmas Carol," and my mom actually named him, which is probably just as well -- given his markings, I'd have been sorely tempted to call him Sylvester :-). The "Tiny" part of his name has basically disappeared; kind of hard to call a muscular 12-pound kitty "Tiny," and his personality is anything but!

after the pic was taken ... you only close the door and laugh your ass off when the cat comes with a mouse ... and there is still the mousetrap hanging on the mouse ... LOL

18. Oh, yes, I let him in.

I _have_ to let him in, because he's my cat's brother and playmate. Barley (the cat in the photo) knows how to lie down on his back and use his front "hands" to open the cabinet where I keep the dry cat food. He's incorrigible, I tell ya!
