Do you ever get jealous when you see someone else post something clever?

Yeah...I'll see something wonderfully clever (or witty) and say to myself "Damn! Why didn't I think of that?"

There are so many clever, smart people here that it happens quite a lot.

Here in Hooterville, I feel like an intellectual giant, but DU is full of clever, intelligent, insightful people. In most ways, it feels really good to be speaking to such enlightened people, but there's still just a twinge of jealousy sometimes. :D

I really enjoy reading all of the clever posts. One time I went over to the freak republic site and read a bunch of their posts,then I came back here and read a bunch. I swear,the comparison was like night and day. Those people are so immature and so IGNORANT. The people here can't be beat,in my opinion. I have laughed so hard at some of the posts here....Not making fun of them,but really enjoying what they have to say and how they say it.I could never compete with the posters here. I try to say what I feel,but I don't think I ever come up with anything near as clever as the rest on this board. :hi:
