What's all this talk about Star Trek?
Is there a new Star Trek movie out or something? Mr Woof was my favorite character, I think he was a Wookie or something.

6. The Empire is just a story on the holodeck.
Every now and then deanna troy puts her hair up in buns and lives out the story.

9. I don't think either the Comet Empire or the Gamilon Empire
count for this thread. I think we have to stick to live action

10. I liked that documentary: "2001: A Space Odyssey"
NASA should really make sure that doesn't happen again.

14. Remember the one
where deanna and this guy named luke were toodling around the galaxy and they engaged the improbiblity drive and ended up in 1950's earth. They ran into this guy in a black mask on the beach that kicked sand in lukes face and said that he was his father. Then deanna's pet robot Twiggi came out and zapped the mean guy.

13. It's like the first time in a gabillion years it's not on TV, I think.

on edit:

Oh wait, LOL, you're talking about Star Wars.

The awful "Star Trek: Enterprise" or whatever got cancelled.
So that's the big deal, I think.

I think it had gotten pretty suckriffic for a while now. It's always interesting when these people that own these icons (like these guys, whoever owns Bond/007, George Lucas) get to the age where they can't save their franchise.
