Don't get me wrong, I like radiohead quite a bit for a mainstream band. But they get waaaaayyy too much credit for what they do as being somehow brilliant and innovative.
They were much better as a rock band than they are as "Post-Rock For Dummies". Yeah, we get it guys. You own some Thrill Jockey records. Congratulations. So do I. Now can you go back and make another album like the Bends? If I want experimental noodlings with electronic flourishes I'll listen to Tortoise or Mogwai or bands that have been doing that stuff from the get go.
