Used vehicle history without paying? I was able to get this info free in
the past but now everywhere I go to check wants cash. Any help in this department? I have the vin number Thanks.

1. Yeah, Carfax
charges around $25.

My son was looking at a used Infiniti, he went to the local dealer with the vin and they looked it up for him. It had been in an accident or two and they told him the asking price was too high and either to pass or get them to come way down. Maybe other dealers do this too.

2. Well, I think I'll just ask the dealer tomorrow when I go to check out the
car I am interested in. But I swear that last week when I was searching that one of the site gave the info for free. Maybe I was DREAMING. Did your son get a nice car? Hope so.

3. He did. A Nissan Altima
which he is slowly redoing, going to drop a new engine later this summer. Good luck to you. DU does have a auto group maybe someone there knows somewhere to look.
