18. The original book, found in the New Testament...
Would have nothing to do with that flaming pile of junk.

I watched episodes 1, 2, and part of 3. Then I stopped. Those that I watched had nothing to do with reality OR with the original Book of Revelations via St. John the Divine.

Truly, it was astounding. If fundamentalists watched this and found ANY confirmation of their beliefs in it, I would love to hear about it. Completely messed up, it was.

10. Yeah. Just a filler until they start the reruns of West Wing
and then the new season, right?

11. I think it was supposed to be a limited series
they try it out and see if it worked out and if not then end it.

13. Yes, but you can do something cool with six hours!
And Pullman... Man, he must be desperate for work... I actually saw him on stage in Boston last year and he seemed pretty cool...

20. See, that's my problem.
I LOVE Pullman, in general. But this?! I can't tell you how misguided it was. And I'm not even an end-times fundie, though I know several...

22. For everything there is a season
Therefore I saw that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his works; for that is his portion: for who can bring him to see what will be after him?

9. The only halfway decent episode was the next to last one.
The ending was CRAAAAAP! Nothing! Blah! Nothing was settled. Was Haden killed by the enochian dagger or not? What was the deal with the pagan nursery with ten babies in it? Total waste of time, except for a few lovely scenic shots.

16. Haden said he'll see him on Easter...
The nun said all this was inevitable. So, what was the point of all of it??!!

The ending in the book Revelation was better. More action.

17. No one got the joke because...
the series had absolutely nothing to do with the Book of Revelation. And they kept throwing up bible verses on the TV screen that were not relevant to the show.

14. Overly long dramatic pauses, cheap sets, few props, no special effects
ever present moody music, some woman dressed in nun light, some guy who I guess was some kind of detective, both of them walking around slowly on cheap darkened sets, a plot that builds, but never pays off, except for some boring thing happening, and then some mumbling about how it fulfilled prophecy. What's not to like?

23. You watched that instead of Alias?
Man, you missed out. Alias rocked tonight. Even though the opening credits spoiled the big surprise.
