21. Sunsey Blvd is a full frame movie
It was shot in 1.37:1

So buy what you find because it is the correct ratio.

8. I think his understated performance in "Network" is his best
but I love "Sunset Blvd" too.

10. He was so handsome and cool in Picnic
It was impossible not to fall in love with him. Actually, he was good in all his movies, but when he danced and swayed in Picnic, wow!!

Greatest movie ever made.

"You get up on your little 21 inch screen and howl about America and democracy. There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM and ITT, and AT&T and Du Pont, Dow, Union Carbide and Exxon. Those are the nations of the world now."

15. "The Wild Bunch" but Holden was ALWAYS a superb actor
One of the best ever.
Shame about his conservative politics, though. I always blame that on the booze.

16. A tough one. A lot of good choices
Edited on Wed May-18-05 10:06 PM by Jack Rabbit
Of those given, I selected Sunset Boulevard.

Other good ones are Network, Stalag 17 and The Wild Bunch. I liked Sabrina, but I didn't particularly like Holden in it. I haven't seen Bridge on the River Kwai in so long that I couldn't judge it fairly.

17. Honorable mention goes to 'The Earthling'
One of his last movies and I cry like a baby every time I see it. It's not his greatest but I like it.

20. Tossup Between Sunset Blvd and Stalag 17... So I Voted For...
Stalag 17 because it was a little bit behind in the vote count.
