movie serials of yesteryear.

No Star Wars movie was ever made good by it's dialog :)

3. It would appear that the entire review consists of sniping at the dialog

and place names Lucas created.

That doesn't exactly make for a review of a film.

I will give him credit for a couple of cute comments such as the line about Count Dooku vising Naboo "You shouldn't have come to Naboo Dukoo" but I would've gone him one better and said "Dookoo, you shouldn't come to Naboo because if you do then Sidius will do some voodoo and we'll both be up to our ears in poodoo."

I'd say his analysis of why Anakin (or Vader) would want to learn the dark side to have power over life and death as relating to Amidala is off base though. He's made it pretty clear that his desire for that power arises out of his love for his now dead mother. Sheesh, didn't this guy pay any attention at all? :)

I guess when I saw it was a CBS link, I figured a good, fair/balanced review. But this guy came out with daggars! It was just so hateful.

FYI, many, many reviews (?) online with the anti-boosh observations, even though Lucas is denying all of it, saying it was written long before the Iraq War. Heh.

11. Right-Wing Agenda garbage review.

They hate this film because of the implied messages behind the Empire's rise to power. I'm not fucking surprised. And it's the typical "I hate the movie, so I'm going to ruin it for those who might want to see it" critic's tripe.
