Sawyer will end up giving up his place on the raft to Sun so that she and Jin can leave the island together?

From what I understand, those who leave on the raft will not be back next season, and I cannot see the producers allowing Sawyer, one of their audience's favorite characters, to just leave the show like that.

Sun obviously wants to be with Jin...bad enough to try and make him sick so he'd stay behind. And I think Jin is merely still holding on to his pride, but that will melt away when it hits home that he'll probably never see Sun again.

Or maybe I just really, really don't want Sawyer to leave. After all, he has to stay and have that torrid affair with Kate.

Then again, I am bored by the love triangle between Kate, Sawyer and Jack. Gee, I realize now that I don't care about any of the love interests on the island; I want the damn hatch open, I want to see what Locke does when it does, and I want Delenn to give a meaty speech tonight that gives us some more info about the numbers and the black rock. I guess I'm not a romantic when it comes to Lost...

Maybe the raft will be unable to break from the currents and just end up circling the island. Or maybe it will crash back on the island like the "French Chick's" sailboat did.

I'm wondering who the "others" are and if they are linked to the "hatch" Locke found.

5. I read an article in the USA Weekend

that said the producers were currently involved in casting new regulars to replace the ones who would be leaving at the end of this season. It seems to me that the most likely candidates to be "leaving" the show are the ones sailing out on the raft.

They just need to get some fresh faces in to start developing back stories for next season. We will lose a cast member or two this season and more next but they will need to start developing other characters just to give them some new flashback stories.

9. The "others" may be coming for revenge for the killing of Ethan Rom

It's also possible that characters on the island could meet their doom from the "others." Rousseau's group was attacked by the "others."

And some on the raft could also be killed. Maybe both sets -- those on the raft and those on the island -- of Lost survivors could suffer loses.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

7. Nope, in fact

I am afraid Jin will not survive his raft adventure. I hope I am wrong as I enjoy the character but ever since I learned that Sun was the character created and cast first I have feared for Jin.

I have followed a lot of info and never heard that everyone on the raft will not be back. Walt and Michael's story still has to play out and of course they won't be sacrificing Sawyer.

Also I did hear occupants of the raft referred to as "the boys" so I think it will be Walt, Michael, Jin, and Sawyer. But not all of them will make it back.

Worst case, for me but what I think will happen is that only Walt and Sawyer will make it back.

Harold Perrinau (sp) who plays Michael has a good career going so he may want to get back to the movies anyway.

10. Nah. I don't see Sawyer giving up his place on the raft

for love or money. And I think there's more to his desire for a spot on that raft than we currently know.

But I also don't see the characters on the raft as being necessarily lost to the cast. There are still more than a few scenarios that would give us new cast members. If these people are not the only ones ever marooned on the island, there could be more coming along.

14. I didn't say it was the only possible theory...

just one that occurred to me that I particularly liked.

I'm not one of those people who try to figure out the "big story" of what's going on (where are they, what's happening, what's the monster). Rather, I'm more interested in making guesses or speculations about the pasts of the individual characters or their relationships to one another. I'd guessed from the beginning that Sun could at least understand (and possibly speak) English, and that Kate had been responsible (either directly or indirectly) for the death of someone she loved.

That's why I don't really care where the story leads or where the producers decide to take us, just as long as the compelling character stories keep coming!

11. LOST

First of all lost-Tv is a great website!!!

Rumour has it that we will meet the survivors of the tail section of the plane during next weeks 2 hour( parts 2 and 3) finale. We also get a glimpse inside the cargo hold...and see what caused the plane to crash. Don't know if it's true or not...but there has been some serious talk of a flashback from Vincent's( the dog) point of view.
