1. To what do you attribute your success as a comedian
Edited on Tue May-17-05 10:47 AM by SouthoftheBorderPaul
I mean, in light of the fact that you're not funny...

2. You are bad...bad...bad...
and funny :spank:

My brother tells an interesting story. He worked with Adam Sandler when he was just starting out, and a humbler person you would never meet. He worked on a film of his recently, and watched as a helicopter swooped down (comped by the producers) to whisk Mr. Sandler off. Funny how fame changes a person. :hi:

10. Well, he used to eat with the crew, and had switched to taking meals
elsewhere. Which could be chalked up to increased popularity and a desire for privacy, but my brother has said that crews-from the biggest star to the littlest lackey- usually bond, and that there was no bonding that time around.

12. That's a shame.
Ah well, it's the strong exceptions that don't get carried away by their own publicity.

5. "Adam...why did you befoul movie theaters everywhere...
with that gross, unfunny, vile piece of excrement known as "Adam Sandler's 8 Crazy Days Til Christmas?"

I think I will ask him that. :-)

6. Come on, not ALL of his films suck
Punch Drunk Love was great. (Though I think we can attribute that to P.T. Anderson, not Sandler.)

14. I'll take a look... I'm glad he made a good movie finally
after 20 or so horrible ones.

9. I've actually heard he's a nice guy
A friend of mine was in charge of some golf tournament that he took part in without drawing attention to himself, and people kept coming up to tell him that he looked and sounded just like Adam Sandler except he was really quiet, and he would just reply, "Yeah, I get that a lot."

He seemed to enjoy that.

11. Who told you you could act?
Why did you believe them?

Maybe he is a nice guy but most of his movies are awful (I will admit, I liked 50 First Dates, mostly because I love Drew Barrymore). Being a nice guy doesn't necessarily mean you're a good actor or comedian. I don't think he's either.
