Ignoring Your Own Best Interests Award: Bush sticker on pizza delivery car
Of course, it could have been and probably was a kid driving his parents' car. But still. Or, maybe Papajohn's pays their delivery drivers REALLY well. I know which way I'm betting.

1. Maybe they got handed out at work. Isn't PJ a big Bush supporter?
If not, I need to be corrected. I haven't touched a Papa John's pizza since I heard that.

3. Schnatter appears to be Republican, but not the most rabid
About all I could find on him was this FR thread, on which he's barely mentioned: http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/919390/posts

Very much doubt they would hand out stickers; considering the turnover among pizza delivery drivers, it would hardly be worth the trouble. Anyway, it was the only one that had a B-C sticker; I hold to my earlier suggestion that it was probably the kid's parents' car.

10. Papa John's is some of the worst tasting pizza ever!
I love pizza, and always felt that there was no such thing as a "Bad" pizza. That was, until I tried this crap. I was visiting relatives in Austin, Texas and they ordered Papa John's...it was awful.

2. Be sure to let them know you will no longer be ordering their pizzas
because of the shrub stickers polluting the car.

4. I don't see why the bumper sticker on one delivery person's car
would affect my selecting or not selecting PapaJohn's. I would hope that nobody would boycott a company because of one employee's liberal bumper stickers either.

9. Don't be surprised. Sure they do. rethugs don't spend money on liberal

businesses. They have directories they pass out to spend money on their won kind. I've seen them at rethug's homes. And PJ's is a very red corporation. Look for blue companies to spend your money on.

5. It's probably just some jaded hipster taking the irony thing way too far.

7. I had a friend who did that
She's a liberal, but a sadly way too apathetic one (she didn't even end up voting 'cause she told me it doesn't matter in a "red" state like TX.) She was working as a waitress before the last election and decided to put a Bush/Cheney '04 sticker on her little ticket-holding book because she thought it would be "ironic" and would get her "friendly" customers and better tips. It really pissed me off, though; maybe I just take things too seriously.

8. Yipes! I was just joking.
I didn't think anybody would really pull crap like that.

But then again my wife knows some folks who have PhD's in excessive ironic behaviour: they went to Eurodisney for their honeymoon.

6. Before the '04 election
two of the delivery cars from the local Mazzio's had Bush/Cheney stickers on them. I saw them parked next to each other once and was disgusted. I wondered if the Manager was telling them to put them on or something, but figured it was just a coincidence of having two FReeper delivery folks at one restaurant.
