To clarify:

I consider work especially in regards to an art or craft as an ongoing process. As an artist, if I can get close or 'attempt' to convey what is in my mind, out into a forum and into your brain, I've done my job.

My husband's a writer too, as are a large number of our friends. The one thing I've noticed from my expose to all of them is that there is no one way to get your writing done and that you should never listen to someone who claims to know what's the right way for you.

BTW, my husband gets his best work done in the shower. Yet I've never heard him tell another writer to "stop procrastinating and take a shower". ;-)

He does this routine, where he travels to different countries and makes fun off their culture and idioms without speaking the (visiting country's) language. He does it all with sound and gesture. It's the funniest thing of life. If you can, check out some of his plays, they're incredible.
