1. You left out a choice...
Where's the coffee?

THEN I'll see how grumpy I am!

3. good morning world !
it has been my habit for yrs now to say something positive to myself upon waking up.

i wanted to answer with the coffee choice to though, because that helps to make me cheerful. :-)

4. LOL! as a kid I was very grumpy upon waking, and was very much
in the :grr: :grr: category.

But I've moderated that over the years. Now I'm just noncommittal about it all until I really wake up, about 2 hours later.

8. I have to wake up too early
My body is just not meant to wake up at 5:30 a.m. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed. I feel much better with six hours of sleep awaking at 8:00 a.m. than I do with nine hours awaking at 5:30 a.m. Sometimes, I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

9. The Difference Between Us and Freepers
Thank you for the query. Can you imagine this question being posted on the FreeRepublic? It would be answered with a series of "Huh?"'s. Being able to appreciate a question like this describes part of the mindset that defines a progressive. Conservatives deal only with a simplistic path from "A" to "B" without any reagard for the consequences along that path. Feelings and human emotion - what differentiates us from the rest of the animal kingdom - have no relevance in the conservative psyche; except when these "feelings" may be used to manipulate the masses. Sorry for the rant, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I read this post.
