Real Time w/ Bill Maher was the best tonight (I think of the season).
It was the season finale; new episodes to air again in August.

3. Loved how he ended it w/ his speech about those who support
the war should go and the discussion about the election and voter fraud. Gore Vidal and Al Franken were awesome!

4. Absolutely! When the image of the yellow magnet came up,
I yelled, "Yes!" at the TV. I knew where he was going w/ it.

5. Welcome home, Bill Maher
I've been disgusted with him for all the Fuckface asskissing he did, particularly how our invasion had brought "democracy" to Iraq, and for his pandering to the rightwingnut guests he had.

But, tonight, man, oh, man, it was spectacular! I'm a Gore Vidal fan anyway, and that guy just talked like God tonight. Franken was brilliantly funny, and Maher was as nasty and funny as I've ever seen him.

It was the best show of the season - by far.

he was friends with her (friends w/ benefits, I wonder...?).

"...needs only a blinking red light to begin giving talking head..."

Thanks for the link to that sharp trouncing of a very nasty girl.

I absolutely worship that man, his courage, his mind. He has never backed down from presenting his opinion, and has always been dead right on target.

8. Al Franken's
feigned innocence as to why gay Jeff Gannon would stay overnight at the White House was the highlight.

But Mr. Vidal got the most laughs out of this boy.

Bill had a nice wrap up with the "It's time for the folks who were for the war to sign up" segment. Anyone who missed it would do well to catch the re-broadcasts.

29. I think they have already bought (or are in the process of buying) a
house in MN and plan on moving back and doing the show from there after 2006.

He is running. He didn't run for Dayton's seat in 2006 because he had promised AAR and he wants to take out Coleman in 2008.

happily married and a hell of a lot smarter than Coleman...but I don't doubt they will fight dirty.

But people of Minnesota are smarter than that

At least with The Daily Show, I can watch it on the net.
Sounds like an All Star lineup with plenty of home runs.

34. I have one channel and somehow I got it for free
I cancelled HBO after Sopranos, Six Feet Under and Sex and the City were off the air. I figured SATC is done and the other 2 won't be back for a bit so I'll save money not get HBO again until those 2 series start.

Then I discovered I had HBO anyways on my living room TV. So I figured why mess with what they messed up on
