6. Yes, yes, yes! That particular one really gets to me, or...
"your" instead of "you're". Arrggh!

The other one I see often because I work for an airline is customers writing in referring to the "isle". They mean the "aisle" -- last I checked, we don't have an island theme on our aircraft!

10. People who misuse 'your' and 'you're'
should do time.

"to" difficult to master...hee hee.

it's O-L-B-E-R-M-A-N-N. That's with an L, and 2 N's at the end.

Thank you, from the KOEB. :loveya:

9. And it's not the Jon Stewart show
It's the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

14. The Tonight Show isn't called "Leno" either, but
it's a frequently used "shorthand."

16. But that's actually shorter
I guess people could just call it "Stewart" but isn't it just as easy to say "The Daily Show" as it is to say "The John Stewart Show?"

19. I could see that
I guess I just see the Daily Show as much more than just Jon Stewart. I'd like to distinguish it from the stuff that Leno or Letterman does.

It's all semantics though.

21. That it is.
But TDS is so closely associated with Stewart (much more so than Craig Kilborn ever made it) that I can see why people call it "his" show.

18. But it made more sense when "Johnny Carson"
was the "shorthand" for The Tonight Show. Oh, he was the master! I must be getting old (or just tired) since I feel like waxing nostalgic over Johnny Carson...
