Kirk even offered Khan the chance for surrender instead of blowing his commandeered ship to bits.

Now was Picard so nice when faced with with his crew turned Borg? The Borg Queen? Ru'afo even? Nope, he slaughtered them all. Nobody's perfect...

The Enterprise was crossing the screen toward the window and in the reflection, therefore, it was coming the other way. The two Enterprises seemed to be flying into itself, and I thought "something like that actually happened in that episode where everyone is evil in an alternate universe. Spock has a goatee.
