A special message to all my friends at DU.
Sometimes when you cry...

No one sees your tears.

Sometimes when you are worried...

No one sees your pain.

Sometimes when you are happy...

No one sees your joy.

But fart just one time....

It might not be as funny as I remember it, but, then again, it was really out there for 1976.

It was a spoof of the colossal accident pictures that were big at the time - where the skyscraper collapsed or the pilot died while flying the jumbo jet - the "Airport" kinds of movies.

This was about the first nuclear-powered bus, and how it was going to go cross-country in something like eight hours. But the driver got sick, and the only man capable of driving such a machine had been blackballed from the bus industry years before because of an incident.

The incident was that he and his passengers had become stranded somewhere in a snowstorm. Things got bad, and they ended up eating one of their fellow passengers. The driver apparently dined on the guy's foot.

So, his lament was, "You drive a bus without even one minor fender-bender for twenty-five years, and nobody says anything. But, eat one foot ....."

OK, so I guess you don't have to see the movie now, do you?
