Considering that last week in the WP live forum, she seemed unimpressed with the effect the Blair memo might have on US politics.

Dana Priest: To add to the last answer, for what it's worth: I find it hard to fathom that President Bush would order the invasion of Iran, given how overstretched the US military is already and how much more competent the Iranian military is (than the Iraqi military), not to mention the cost of an occupation and of regional instability. But then again, within the national security group or reporters here at The Post, I bet against an invasion of Iraq. I did not think the administration would go ahead because of the enormous uncertainties in the so-called post-war period. Wrong.
