Sheesh. . .how do you continually get yourself into these situations dear.

I'd love to meet at someplace on the water, but they're probably pricy and not good for sunsets after work unless one is located on the eastern bank of the Charles.

Would love to have you all down to my fave dive in Providencia or my back porch or something. But that would be hardly worth the long drive on a work night.

We could always go to Bukowski's and pester Pitt or something. . .

Miracle of Science: not really a dive but cheap enough to qualify

Cambridgeport Saloon: such a dive that it's BYOF-bring your own fruit, if you desire a cocktail garnish. It's a boilermaker kind of place.

The Field: Irish pub, cheap, good beers, no food

The Burren: Davis Sq. Irish bar

The Sligo: Davis Sq townie bar

Grafton St: in Harvard Square, good cocktails, pretty affordable.
