Stereolab...up there with Floyd, Zeppelin, even the Beatles.
Serioulsy. They're that good; call me crazy. Their latest one is one of their best yet.

1. Not so live
Saw them at All Tomorrow's Parties in LA 2002.

Definitely a studio as opposed to a live band. A lot of roughness in the live performance, not as smooth as their recordings.


Too bad about Mary Hansen, though. The good do die young.


Of course, maybe Pink Floyd or the Beatles weren't really slick live either.

3. Musta caught 'em on a down night.
I love thier live sound...the songs take on a whole new unique interpretaions with every performance.
